The penguin band has been prforming for clubpenguin since the year 2006.the band had 2 backgrounds but the old one was changed,there are mainly four band members known as G billy,Stompin Bob,Petey K,and Franky.Now you cant just meet these ppl out of a random place,the only way is if there is a certain event for EX. in the year 2009 the clubpenguin tam made something called the Penguin Play Awards.This was a very special event where you could meet cadence,gary,aunt arctic,and penguin band but not rockhopper you will learn about him later.If you have met them you would get a background of them looking like this:

Gary

Now you will be learning about Gary,he is the inventor of clubpenguin he created the switch box 3000 for special effects this is located in the stage.Gary came to a holloween party in 2008 so you could meet him,he also came in 2009 at the penguin play awards,you can only meet gary at special events his background was changed though they look the same except they are just switched around

 The reason why it was switched around was because everytime you  put a pin on it covers his face.Now you know facts about Gary.

Cadence

Cadence is a DJ she came to clubpenguin at the member party in 2009 january.She was the one that hosted the member party,also this party had a new game it was dance contest it is a very fun game you can only meet her at special events.On this day there was a free item it was a boom box in the dance club only for members.If you meet her you can get her background this is what she looks like

Aunt Arctic

Aunt Arctic is a very old penguin but we could never meet her……until! the penguin play awards showed up.when this event happened it was the only time you could meet her.Aunt arctic is the editor of the clubpenguin times (AKA) clubpenguin newspaper she writes it,every thursday a new one comes out all written by her.When she came to clubpenguin everyone was going crazy you could meet her and get her background it was so much fun.If you missed the penguin play awards then its ok maybe just maybe aunt arctic will come again.here is what she looks like

Rockhopper

Rockhopper is a penguin pirate,the only time when he comes is when his ship is docked at the beach.When it is, you can meet him also you can go into his ship Rockhopper brings items that you can buy and one free item there is a room in the sip were you need a key,the key is in the book room upstairs of the coffe shop.Rockhopper is on alot of servers and he could be roming anywhere when you meet him you get a background this is what he looks like
